Substance Use Resources

A practical tool to stay safe during difficult moments

Didi Hirsch suicide safety plan

A safety plan is a personalized roadmap to support you during moments of crisis. It is a written guide that helps you recognize warning signs, explore coping strategies, and identify trusted people and professional resources to turn to when experiencing suicidal thoughts. Creating a safety plan before a crisis happens empowers you with the tools and support needed to manage distress and prioritize your well-being.
