Scott Lahman

Scott Lahman is a technology entrepreneur and Executive Vice Chair and Treasurer of Didi Hirsch Mental Health Services’ Board of Directors. He founded JAMDAT Mobile in 2000, helping pioneer the mobile gaming industry. JAMDAT became a global market leader, went public in 2004, and was acquired by Electronic Arts in 2006.

In 2009, Scott launched text+, a communications technology company providing affordable voice, messaging and connectivity services. He currently serves as the company’s CEO. In July 2026, Truecaller, a Swedish company that helps protect consumers from spam and unwanted communication, entered into an agreement to acquire text+.

Earlier in his career, Scott held leadership roles at Activision and worked in film and television, including as a development executive at Robert De Niro’s Tribeca Productions. He has served on numerous startup and advisory boards and on the Los Angeles Council on Technology and Innovation during the administrations of Mayors Antonio Villaraigosa and Eric Garcetti.

After his 18-year-old son, Noah, died from fentanyl poisoning in 2020, Scott founded Just Say Noah to raise awareness of the dangers of illicit fentanyl and help prevent overdose deaths. The organization honors Noah’s memory by giving families practical information that can save lives.

Scott joined the Didi Hirsch Board in 2021. He lives in Venice with his wife, Lori, and their son, Toby.
