Supporting children and adolescents through life’s challenges

Didi Hirsch provides compassionate, evidence-based mental health care for school-aged children (ages 6–17) who are facing emotional, behavioral, or social challenges. Through individual, family, and group therapy, we help children better understand and express their emotions, develop healthy coping strategies, and strengthen the relationships that matter most.

We understand that every child is unique, and that challenges with mental health can affect how they learn, socialize, and grow. Our therapists work closely with families and caregivers to create a supportive, collaborative care experience that meets each child where they are.

Common concerns we address

Our programs support children and families experiencing a wide range of concerns, including:

  • Anxiety or excessive worry
  • Depression or mood changes
  • Difficulty concentrating or focusing
  • Behavioral challenges or outbursts
  • Trouble adjusting to major life changes
  • Trauma, grief, or loss
  • Social or peer difficulties
  • Aggressive or withdrawn behavior
  • Family conflict or stress
  • Bullying (in person or online)

A family-centered approach

At Didi Hirsch, we believe mental health care works best when families are involved. Our child therapists partner with parents and caregivers to help strengthen family bonds, improve communication, and build consistent routines and expectations that support growth and healing.

When needed, we may also offer case management, medication support, psychological evaluations, and referrals to other community resources.
