988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline

The 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline is a free, confidential support service available 24/7 for anyone experiencing emotional distress or a mental health crisis. By calling, texting, or chatting 988, individuals can connect with trained crisis counselors who provide compassionate, immediate support and resources. The Lifeline is especially committed to ensuring equitable care for all communities, including students of color, by addressing unique cultural and systemic barriers to mental health support.

Mental Health Awareness Month

This May, in recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month, Didi Hirsch is launching Rooted in Resilience—a campaign celebrating the strength and adaptability individuals and communities show in the face of mental health challenges. It reflects our commitment to equitable, compassionate care—especially for historically marginalized communities—and highlights how people build and hold onto resilience in the face of adversity.
