Crisis stabilization in a safe setting

Excelsior House in Inglewood is our crisis residential treatment program, a 14-bed facility for adults experiencing persistent or acute mental health challenges, which can also include those living with a substance use disorder. Instead of unnecessary hospitalization or emergency room visits, Excelsior offers a short-term, home-like setting where you can stabilize, learn new skills, and prepare for your next step in recovery.

Our Approach

Length of Treatment

Clients typically stay for 28 days, with weekly assessments to ensure the program continues to meet your needs.

Who We Serve

Excelsior House may be right for you if you are:

  • 18 or older
  • Experiencing a serious mental health challenge (such as depression, bipolar disorder, or schizophrenia)
  • Medi-Cal eligible or already have Medi-Cal
  • Willing to participate fully in the program
