Students in the USC program rotate with our psychiatrists and spend time at our Suicide Prevention Center. There is no application for this training program, as it is provided through a partnership with USC.

Clinical Objectives

Didi Hirsch’s training program for Physician Assistant students has several clinical objectives related to the care and treatment of patients encountered in the psychiatric/behavior medicine setting. To read a full description of the program’s clinical objectives, click here.

If it was not for the lady I spoke to yesterday…I was in a very bad place. Thank you so much, thank you.

They kept me alive. I don’t know how I would have survived without them.

When I hit my lowest point, Didi Hirsch was my lifeline.

Carlos
Struggles with depression

I learned how to balance being a mother and a woman in recovery. Via Avanta gave me the skills I needed for life, allowed me to be a parent to my daughter.

Didi Hirsch helped me a lot - through the therapy, psychiatry, medication, and being able to open up and share in the groups
