We are proud to announce that Our Third Place, Didi Hirsch’s new youth drop-in center, has officially opened!
Since opening, Our Third Place has been a safe space where youth ages 15-25 are connected to the resources they need to thrive.
Our Third Place is the first facility of its kind serving youth in the Glendale and Greater LA area. The state-of-the-art center is a 2,500 square foot space that provides access to amenities including a kitchen, laundry services, showers, and even a digital recording studio.
In addition, every youth who visits Our Third Place is offered case management services. Program staff are able to assist clients with finding stable housing, employment and educational/vocational programs, developing life skills, and affordable therapy.
Above all else, Our Third Place is a safe place for youth to feel supported and understood. They are empowered and given the agency to learn how to successfully navigate the transition from adolescence to adulthood, build community and just be themselves.
