A healing space for teens
Teen SAS offers a confidential, peer-supported environment where teens who’ve lost someone to suicide can connect, share, and begin their journey toward healing. Guided by both licensed clinicians and peers with lived experience, our groups provide empathy, understanding, and hope.
What to expect
Groups meet once a week for 90-minute sessions over the course of eight weeks. In small, safe groups, teens learn healthy stress-management strategies and creative coping skills to process grief and find solidarity in shared experiences.
Why it matters
Didi Hirsch pioneered support group models for suicide survivors—our Teen SAS group is rooted in that legacy. Co-facilitated by a clinician and someone who has also experienced loss, the program humanizes grief and guides teens toward connection and recovery.
