Felicia Auerbach, LCSW, is the Director of Crisis Care at Didi Hirsch Mental Health Services. With 19 years of experience in social work and behavioral health, she provides leadership in clinical services, program development, and systems serving high-acuity and historically underserved populations. Prior to joining Didi Hirsch, Felicia spent more than a decade working in the reentry field, most recently serving as Clinical and Wellness Director for a reentry program, where she oversaw multidisciplinary teams, provided clinical supervision, and led the development of trauma-informed behavioral health services for individuals transitioning from incarceration back into the community.
Felicia specializes in trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, substance use disorders (SUD), co-occurring mental health conditions, and services for justice-involved populations. Throughout her career, she has supported individuals impacted by trauma and behavioral health challenges through holistic, recovery-oriented approaches that promote healing, resilience, and long-term stability.
She has extensive experience supervising clinicians, building programs from the ground up, and implementing innovative initiatives within complex service systems. Felicia has held leadership roles in trauma recovery centers and other high-intensity service environments, with a focus on strengthening clinical practice, staff development, and program quality. In her current role, she leads efforts to expand and enhance crisis care and disaster response services, ensuring individuals and communities have access to timely, compassionate support during times of crisis.
Felicia is dedicated to ensuring that individuals and communities have access to compassionate, evidence-informed support during their most vulnerable moments. Through suicide prevention counseling, crisis care, and disaster response services, she works to strengthen systems of care that promote safety, connection, healing, and resilience.
