Prevention

Teens and young adults who are currently using or are at risk of using drugs or alcohol can access help before the problem gets worse. Services are provided in the school or in the clinic and include: mentoring, consultation and screening to determine the appropriate level of care, 1:1 education regarding substance use, family counseling, and referral to a higher level of care if needed. No insurance is required.

The program also uses a public health approach to provide education on Substance Use at health fairs, community events, back to school nights, and community presentations. The presentations can be tailored to meet the needs of the population. These services are provided in West Los Angeles County.
