Support that helps you navigate life

At Our Third Place, we know that managing life as a young adult isn’t just about forms and phone calls. It’s about learning the day-to-day skills that help you feel confident, independent, and in control. Whether you’re figuring out how to cook a meal, do your laundry, or juggle school and work schedules, our team is here to help—step by step, at your pace.

What we can help with

Our staff and case managers are ready to walk alongside you as you build life skills and take care of practical tasks, including:

  • Job readiness – Applications, resumes, and interview prep
  • Education – School forms, FAFSA, and study support
  • Housing – Applications, referrals, and guidance (See more information)
  • Documentation – Government forms, IDs, benefits, and more
  • Time management and routines – Support with planning, organizing, and creating structure in your week
  • Cooking and nutrition – Learn basic kitchen skills and how to make simple, healthy meals
  • Laundry and self-care – Use our free facilities while learning how to care for yourself in a way that works for you
  • Transportation and navigation – Help understanding bus routes, ride apps, and getting where you need to go

Support is available during open hours, and drop-ins are always welcome—no appointment needed.

More than paperwork

In addition to one-on-one support, we also offer access to our Community Closet, which is stocked with clothing and hygiene items for anyone who needs them. It’s all part of creating a safe, respectful space where you can build the skills you need to move forward.
