Despite awareness efforts being at an all-time high, suicide rates across the U.S. are headed in the wrong direction. Nearly 49,500 people in the U.S. died by suicide in 2022, the highest in the nation’s history.
KNX News gathered survivors, experts, and advocates, including the son of legendary actor Robin Williams and a former Maroon 5 drummer, for “Awareness is Not Enough: an ‘I’m Listening’ Town Hall” which aired on Wednesday Sept. 20 at 7 p.m. to explore what can be done to fight back against the epidemic.
