We are pleased to share that Didi Hirsch Mental Health Services is the recipient of the 2023 MarCom Platinum Award for the Integrated Public Awareness Campaigns developed for the one-year anniversary of 988 in California and launch of the 988 Spanish text and chat options.
The MarCom Awards honor excellence in marketing and communication while recognizing the creativity, hard work and generosity of industry professionals.
These campaign initiatives, which have been strategically invested in by our agency, recognize the critical need for public outreach and media education on the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. The campaign included a statewide virtual press conference to demonstrate that 988 is helping to reduce suicide in California and shared key data at the one-year milestone. Additionally, Didi Hirsch engaged in robust Spanish-language media outreach with our crisis counselors to demystify what happens when someone calls/texts/chats 988 in Spanish.
We are proud to have partnered with Cause Communications in these efforts. We recognize that suicide prevention requires thoughtfulness, education, and consistent collaboration and remain committed to this work.
