Erasing the Stigma Switching to “Virtual” Event

Dear Friends,

To ensure the safety and health of our supporters, staff and clients during the Covid-19 crisis, we will hold our first-time-ever virtual Erasing the Stigma Awards. More information on the date and time of our 24th annual event will be announced soon. We will continuously post updates about the program at www.erasingthestigma.org.

We are grateful to those who have already sponsored, donated or purchased ads or tickets—all now fully tax-deductible. We need your support more than ever, as the current pandemic has disproportionately affected the homeless and low-income families who live with mental health conditions.

If you have questions about your contribution, please contact Development Associate Jeanne Indjayan at jindjayan@didihirsch.org or 310-751-5216.  We will distribute the Tribute Journal electronically and will continue to accept payments for ads, sponsorships and other donations up to the event.  If you haven’t yet shown your support, please donate now!

Please stay healthy and safe and stay tuned for more details on our virtual experience. We look forward to staying connected with you in the weeks to come.

Warmest regards,

The Erasing the Stigma Committee

When healthcare professionals die by suicide and overdose, people at work act like there’s no explanation. Read this and you’ll know how in denial that is. We have to train and care about one another like we care for patients. #MentalHealthIsHealth #firstrespondersfirst https://twitter.com/medicalaxioms/status/1382337552191950856

According to Healthline, "Meditation is the habitual process of training your mind to focus and redirect your thoughts." There are many science-based benefits to meditation, learn more in the article below. http://ow.ly/MaUm50EpVeU
