Marina Eckart

Marina Geozalyan Eckart, LMFT

Vice President of Health and Innovation

Marina Geozalyan Eckart is the Vice President of Health and Innovation at Didi Hirsch Mental Health Services.  She has been a licensed marriage and family therapist since 2003 and has a passion for ensuring all individuals have easy access to quality behavioral health services, regardless of their income, race, or gender.  Marina’s passion comes from her and her family’s experiences as immigrants struggling to navigate the basics of life in a foreign country without social support or knowledge of the health care system.  From a very young age, Marina was responsible for being the family’s translator, advocate and guide through multiple complicated systems.

Marina has over 25 years’ experience in the field of mental health.  She started her career in community behavioral health working with the chronically mentally ill forensic population and went on to work in residential treatment, foster care, partial hospitalization, and managed care.  A large part of her direct client work focused on the underserved Armenian population dealing with generational trauma.    She has been working at Didi Hirsch since 2011, serving as the Adult Program Director, Division Director of Adult Services, and Division Director of Quality Improvement.
