Kathy Chappell Dossett

Board of Directors

Kathy Chappell Dossett is Head of Global Human Resources at Skydance Media, where she is part of the senior executive team and advises in matters of human capital and significant organizational challenges.

A Human Resources Executive with more than 20 years of experience in the entertainment industry, she is passionate about diversity and inclusion and mental wellness in the workplace. At Skydance Media, she implemented a full mental wellness program to ensure the entire workforce of employees in the United States and Spain, now working remotely, have the emotional and mental support they need to manage during the pandemic.

Prior to Skydance, Dossett served as a Human Resources executive at leading entertainment companies, including DreamWorks, the Walt Disney company, Sony Pictures and Imageworks. She was part of the HR team at Starz Entertainment that led integration efforts after the Lionsgate acquisition.

Dossett graduated from the University of North Texas with a degree in Business, has studies in the Master of Science Management program at the University of La Verne and has a certification in Diversity and Inclusion from Harvard University.

She is part of the Society of Human Resources, past Regional Director of Jack and Jill of America, and a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority. She and her family live in Pasadena.
