Suicide prevention training

We offer evidence-based programs that teach people how to recognize warning signs, respond with empathy, and provide individuals with life-affirming resources. These trainings are available for schools, businesses, first responders, and community organizations.

Trainings offered include:

  • ASIST & safeTALK – Skills-based trainings to help people recognize signs of suicide and provide immediate, compassionate support.
  • First Responder Training – Specialized training for law enforcement, firefighters, and EMS to respond safely and effectively in crisis situations.
  • School-Based Training – Workshops for educators, staff, and parents to help create safe, supportive environments for youth.
  • Clinical Trainings – These workshops provide an in-depth view of suicide prevention and intervention from a clinical perspective and create a deeper understanding of suicide and how to support a suicidal person through risk assessment, safety planning, and aftercare.

Tribal communities outreach program

We recognize that Native and Indigenous communities face unique challenges around suicide prevention and access to care. Through our Tribal Communities Outreach Program, we collaborate with tribal leaders, elders, and health professionals to create specialized resources. By working together, we help build bridges between cultural wisdom and evidence-based practices to promote healing and hope.
