Finding strength in community
At Didi Hirsch, we believe that healing happens when people feel seen, heard, and supported. Our support groups bring together individuals with shared experiences—whether coping with grief, navigating recovery, or managing life’s challenges—in safe, guided spaces. Led by trained facilitators, these groups offer connection, understanding, and practical tools to help you move forward with hope and resilience.
Survivors of Suicide Attempts support group
If you’ve survived a suicide attempt, this group gives you a safe, nonjudgmental space to talk about what happened and how it’s affected you. With support from a licensed clinician and a peer who’s been there, you’ll learn to manage suicidal thoughts, build coping strategies, and create a personalized safety plan to help you stay grounded during difficult moments.
Survivors After Suicide support group
Losing someone to suicide is a unique and often isolating experience. This group offers you a place to process that loss with others who truly understand. Co-led by a clinician and a peer who has also experienced suicide loss, the group helps you explore your grief, share at your own pace, and begin to find healing.
Teen Survivors After Suicide support group
If you’re a teen who’s lost someone to suicide, you’re not alone. This group gives you a space to talk about it, connect with others your age, and learn healthy ways to cope. Guided by trained clinicians, you’ll get support in a way that feels safe and relatable, with room to express what you’re feeling, in your own way.
Specialized support for first responders and law enforcement
The demands of serving on the front lines can take a heavy toll—physically, emotionally, and mentally. Whether you’re a health care provider, first responder, or member of law enforcement, these groups offer a safe, confidential space to process stress, trauma, and burnout. With peer-driven support and culturally competent guidance, you’ll gain practical tools to build resilience, cope with unique job pressures, and find strength in connection with others who understand your experience.
