We provide in-person assessments to help adults connect with substance use treatment and supportive services across Los Angeles County. Every assessment begins with a private, judgment-free conversation to understand your needs and ends with a personalized plan for care.
Matching care to your needs
No two recovery journeys look the same. Our team will guide you toward the level of care that best fits your situation—whether that’s outpatient treatment, residential care, detox, or intensive services. Together, we’ll create a plan that addresses both your immediate concerns and your long-term goals.
Beyond treatment referrals
Our approach goes beyond treatment placement. Using a community partnership model, we can also help you apply for benefits like Medi-Cal or CalFresh and connect you with supportive services such as:
Domestic violence programs
Mental health care
Housing resources
Employment and education support
These additional services help remove barriers so you can focus on your recovery.
What to expect during your assessment
Step 1: You’ll meet with a trained professional to talk about your health history, current challenges, and goals.
Step 2: We’ll explore the treatment and support options that may be right for you.
Step 3: Together, we’ll create a plan that includes referrals, next steps, and resources you can use right away.

Who can access assessments
Assessments are available to adults 18 and older who live in Los Angeles County. Services are available in English and Spanish, with additional language support when needed.
