We support teens and young adults who are currently using or at risk of using drugs or alcohol. Services are offered at school sites or clinics and include mentoring, 1:1 education, consultation, screening, family counseling, and referrals. No insurance is required.
We also offer public health education on substance use at community events, school nights, and tailored presentations. Services are available in West Los Angeles County.
Early signs can include changes in mood or behavior, withdrawal from family and friends, a drop in school performance, loss of interest in favorite activities, secrecy, changes in sleep or eating habits, or unexplained health issues. If you notice a combination of these behaviors, prevention services may help.
If your teen or young adult is experimenting with substances, at risk of substance use, or showing early warning signs, prevention services can provide education, support, and healthier coping strategies before a problem escalates.
Yes. Services are confidential and designed to create a safe, judgment-free space for youth ages 15–25. We respect their privacy while also working with families when appropriate to ensure comprehensive support.
Prevention services are available in schools, at Our Third Place in Glendale, and in other community-based settings. We also provide education and outreach through health fairs, community events, and workshops.
Services may include one-on-one education about substance use, family counseling, mentoring, screenings to determine support needs, group workshops, and referrals to higher levels of care if needed. Prevention services also include outreach and tailored presentations for schools and community events.
Prevention services are free. No insurance is required to participate.
