Have you ever seen the moon when it’s ginormous and orange? I see my brother in that moon.

Sometimes, I imagine I can hug it, and all the pain and all the grief would just disappear.

About the author

Jessica Lewis is a Southern California native who has enjoyed expressing herself through her artwork since she could pick up a crayon. She went on to deepen her skillset at Paier College of Art in Hamden, Connecticut, and although she has now made a career of instructional design and software development, she still finds solace in her art.
