Rachel Gerrol is Co-Founder and CEO of NEXUS, the leading international network of next gen philanthropists and impact investors, with 6,000 members from 70 countries, representing families with a combined net worth of $750 Billion. NEXUS has held 45+ summits across 6 continents, including at the UN, the White House and No.10 Downing Street and with heads of state from around the world.
Rachel is widely recognized for her work on innovative philanthropy and she and her work have been featured in publications including The New York Times, The Financial Times, The Atlantic, Forbes etc. Rachel curated the “White House Conference on Next Gen Philanthropy & Impact Investing” and Co-Chaired the G8 Young Summit. She worked closely with the Obama Administration to launch the “It’s On Us” campaign to address sexual assault on campus and founded The Survivor Initiative which raised millions of dollars in support of US Holocaust survivors living below the poverty line.
Rachel received the “Beacon Award” from the Ellis Island Honors Society, which recognizes excellence in philanthropy and service and was awarded the “Making Trouble/Making History” Award from the Jewish Women’s Archive. She serves on the Governing Committee of Lifestyles Magazine and on the Advisory Council of the Matthew Perry Foundation and is a facilitator for The Future Mental Health Collective. She previously served on the board of Birthright Israel Foundation and on the Next Gen Council of the USC-Shoah Foundation.
She is an alumna of the University of Pennsylvania and lives in LA with her husband Spencer and young sons, Eli & Gideon.
